THE EXPERIENCE

Anytime I visit an ice cream place it is most likely a place my friends Jasmine or Avanelle told me to check out. Rarely do I ever go to these places alone! Instead, I enjoy going with these two girls as the trio that loves to try new things all around NYC. I'm sure all of this food will catch up to us in the future, but at least we can look back and say we enjoyed ourselves when we were young, right? But, enough about us and more about New Territories. This was definitely new territories for the three of us and we were more than satisfied. The ice cream was amazing and it is a great place stop in for a few seconds and grab a family treat. If you have kids, they would love the friendly atmosphere which is supported by the workers who are so personable. With that being said, if you are ever in New York City you should head to Manhattan and visit this ice cream shop. New Territories is located at 190 Orchard St, New York, NY 10002. Enjoy!

This right here is the Dark and Snowy, which is the creation of my friend Jasmine. What differentiates this cone from the others is its black ash waffle. To me, the waffle doesn't taste different at all. I myself tried the Prince Edward which is a classic waffle with vanilla bean ice cream, Nutella, peanuts, and whipped cream. The waffle had a great consistency and was super flavorful. The ice cream went perfectly with the waffle and whip cream and overall I was content with my choice. Next time I go I will definitely try the other two options which are, U-be Trippin' and the Grandma's Way! 

Other than the bubble waffles and ice cream, you can also try the Unicorn Parade milkshakes. Sadly I did not the opportunity to try one, but from yelps reviews, they are really good! The best part about all of this is that these treats are all based on desserts from Hong Kong. So you not only get to taste a delicious desert, but you get to experience someone else's culture. At the end of the day, that is what NYC is about. A mash of multiple cultures to make something great, kind of like this ice cream. Overall, if you are in NYC you should definitely try New Territories.
