A Normal Day In The Village

THE EXPERIENCE
Looking for a good time in New York City? Then you must visit East Village, Manhattan, NY. Its boundary to the north is Gramercy Park and Stuyvesant Town, to the south by the Lower East Side, and to the east by the East River. At any moment of the day or night "The Village" is filled with joy and excitement. The unconventional lifestyle, art, and intelligence of the students in the area easily put the village on top as the mecca of great food and nightlife. Although there are plenty of record stores, vintage clothing, and tasty restaurants what excites me the most are the parades.
Looking at the photo above, you can easily see that these parades are filled with so much culture. Trust me, the multiple cultures are truly the best part! In this area, you literally can walk down the street and learn 10 different cultural practices in less than 30 minutes. This is unbelievably amazing because, in a world controlled by oppressive racial stereotypes, people can put their differences to the side and come together with music, art, and dance.
If your perfect date consists of completely spontaneous activities and eating a variety of foods, taking your significant other on a date here might be your best choice. Even if you are a hobbyist looking for new things to try East Village is the place for you! This place is also a dream world for a street photographer, being that there is always a moment to capture. Either way, make sure to bring as many friends as possible and be prepared to sit on the sidewalk or in a local park while you do so.
