The Experience
Over 200 young, career-driven entrepreneurs, edible arrangements, a rooftop bar and Kenneth Kyrell as your host. What more can you ask for? TheCCnyc team has done it again with their annual CreativeAF event and trust me when I say, it was 'lit'. The event was held on the rooftop of PHD Terrace at Dream Midtown hotel which was beautiful, if I may add. If you're ever looking to book a rooftop space, this may be the one for you. The rooftop consists of 3 main sections: a wooden themed lounge area, a bar area enclosed by floor-to-ceiling glass windows and an outdoor Miami themed patio. All for guest to enjoy the contrasting yet surprisingly harmonic architecture that New York has to provide, while also being surrounded by the "warm" feel of a Miami beach. But of course it was still winter in New York and no matter how beautiful it looked, no one was willing to stay out there in the cold for more than five seconds. Being the clever group that they are, the creative collective team decided to maximize the use of two of the three spaces by spreading out and creating great conversation in each area. This worked so well! Most people were so into the conversations that they were having they forgot there was even an outdoor space to explore. Being invited in by conversation and then continuing that conversation into the bar area made it easy for guest to feel like family and it really made for a successful network driven event. Overall, the event was full of fun and laughter and if you're looking to attend the next one, I'll be seeing you there!
