The Experience
Growing up in a perilous community such as Brownsville, Brooklyn, one can sense the desperate demand for positive mental, physical and most of all spiritual guidance. A life in East New York, Brooklyn is nothing short of a challenge. Due to that difficulty, it is important to have a place for both adults and children to not only escape their daily trials but, also to remind them that there is a God to help walk them through those same tribulations. Restoration Center of Hope is the place where some locals have found refuge and come to get their "broken pieces put back together". Their mission is to equip and empower believers to grow and maintain a fruitful & restless relationship with Christ. It's easy for believers to embrace and take ownership of this mission because it puts God's vision for his bride (the church) first. It is just as potent among non-believers because it establishes a precedent that encourages the church to provide a dedicated service to the community with which it abides. Although I, myself, am a proud member of the church, my opinion of the Ministry itself is not to be mistaken as facetious. I've watched countless relationships that were once wilted, watered back to nourishment. I've seen people with less than a high-school diploma, mentored into entrepreneurship. The best part of all is seeing souls saved week after week; knowing this, how can your heart not be filled with contentment.

Overseer Jermaine McInnis, Sr.
Overseer Jermaine McInnis Sr. is the leader of this glorious house. While pastoring, he has adopted a professorial strategy of ministry. This, cleverly makes him relatable to those who are spiritually beneath him while also helping him appear humble to those higher in the spiritual hierarchy. By honing his craft and focusing on relating The Word to everyday experiences, he has successfully created an atmosphere where people enjoy learning the word on Sundays and do not look to the church for an entertaining, theatrical show.
Executive Pastor Dr. Kawana McInnis
Beside every great man is an even greater woman and Overseer Jermaine McInnis Sr. does not defy this. Every Sunday, Overseer is accompanied by his lovely wife Executive Pastor Dr. Kawana McInnis. Dr. McInnis is truly the mother of this church. She is as comforting as a lioness quenching her children's thirst, but just like a lioness, she is not afraid to fight for her children. She will not only stand beside them in all their darkest times, but the prophetess herself will step down from the pulpit and pray them out of that same darkness.
