Have you ever wanted to just go out with some of your closest friends, sit down and jokingly converse about all of your experiences as a black person over a few cocktails? Well... if so, you and your friends should have attended TheCCnyc and Black Card Revoked's, "Game Night" because that is exactly what the night looked like. It was a bunch of young, talented entrepreneurs at the Samsung 837 location in New York City, laughing while sharing their experiences and their relativism to the famous card game "Black Card Revoked". Journalist, Jonathan Jackson came through and mediated a great interview. We all shared a few laughs with co-founders Latesha Williams and Jay Bobo and listeners had an opportunity to ask them questions in regard to the backstory of the game and future plans for their brand. Simply put, this event was great! There are no other words for it but, before you continue, I do want to say that this and any of the events thrown by The Creative Collective Team are completely inclusive. This event just happens to be rightfully paying it's respect to a card game that has a lot to do with the experiences of the Black Community. If you relate to any of these experiences, then we would've and would love for you to come and share a laugh with us.

Honestly, I'm going to have to get every pack of these Black Card Revoked decks because this is one of the best, family card games I've played in a long time. Journalist, Jonathan Jackson and co-founders Latesha Williams and Jay Bobo started the night off with an informative interview ultimately giving us both the origin and purpose of this comedic, yet cultural game. After the interview, Latesha and Jay were kind enough to give us an example of how their card game and new BET game show worked. Due to its culturally relative questions, the game successfully sparked nothing but laughter and an enjoyable conversations throughout the room. Overall, this game night was a successful one and we are very appreciative of entrepreneurs such as Latesha Williams and Jay Bobo who dedicate their lives to tackling the issue of lack of representation of the black community in society.

Tequila Avión

What's an event without the #1 tequila brand in the world, Tequila Avión? Tequila Avión is a Ken Austin and Lopez family creation, which blends old-school tequila making techniques with a long-lasting philosophy of staying true to the natural, rich, roasted flavors of the Avión Agave. This tequila may have been made in the small town of Jesus Maria, located in the Mexican state of Jalisco but, just like many of our Mexican brothers and sisters it has made its way around the world and has changed our everyday experiences for the better. These images act as proof of that greater experience!
